Pistachio Pesto Pizza

We whipped this up for a foodie significant other on Valentine’s Day, but it makes a great meal or addition to a spread of appetizers for any occasion!


Ingredients:

  • Pizza dough
  • 3 TBSP NUTTINOSH Roasted Pistachio Butter
  • 3 TBSP Classic basil pesto (homemade or store-bought)
  • Mozzarella cheese (fresh)
  • 7- 8 dry Figs (preferably fresh)
  • 3 Shallots thinly sliced
  • Spicy honey to drizzle on top (optional)
  • Fresh basil to garnish

Directions

  1. Combine NUTTINOSH Pistachio Butter with Pesto and set aside 
  2. Roll out your dough and do your best to create it into a  heat-shape crest 
  3. Spoon the pistachio pesto onto your crest
  4. Layer your shallots, followed by figs, and mozzarella cheese
  5. Drizzle hot honey (we used @HeartSoulHeat Ghost Honey)
  6. Bake for about 12 minutes at 400 degrees
