Nuttinosh 2024: A Year In Review
And just like that, 2024 has come to a close! Can you believe it’s already the new year?
As I reflect on this past year, it hit me that Nuttinosh has officially been in operation for nearly a full calendar year. What started as a dream—to create a healthy and delicious pistachio butter—became a reality in 2024. Let me tell you, it hasn’t always been easy. Starting a small business has been a rollercoaster of hard work, late nights, and countless moments of trial and error.
From the very beginning, there was so much I had to figure out on my own. What are my values for Nuttinosh? How do I balance making it successful on the business side while staying true to my vision? This year has been full of learning moments, from tweaking recipes and setting up at farmers markets to sending emails, collaborating with local businesses, and even wrestling with TikTok (it’s harder than it looks!).
But when I take a moment to step back, I feel so proud of how far Nuttinosh has come in just one year. I’m endlessly grateful for the incredible support I’ve received—from my family, my friends, and every single person who decided to give Nuttinosh a try. Your encouragement has fueled every step of this journey, and together, we’ve accomplished so much.
This year, we perfected our first two pistachio butter flavors (and there are two more waiting in the wings!). We launched a website to connect with people beyond our local community, participated in farmers markets all summer long, and even found our way onto the shelves of our very first retail store, the Marketplace by MOV. We’ve shared delicious recipes, collaborated with the lovely Foxberry Bakehouse, and made meaningful connections with partners who share our vision.
Reflecting on all of this reminds me why I started Nuttinosh in the first place. It all began with a simple goal: to create a healthy, tasty food my son would love. My family first discovered pistachio butter while traveling in Europe, and I was blown away by how versatile, heart-healthy, and absolutely delicious it was. I wanted to bring that experience to others, and seeing the positive reception to Nuttinosh has been the greatest reward.
So, what’s next for 2025?
Looking ahead, our focus will be on continuing to grow Nuttinosh while staying true to the values that brought us here. We want to reach more people, strengthen our connection with the community, and keep sharing the joy of pistachio butter. This year is about building on the foundation we’ve created, embracing new opportunities, and staying inspired by the people who support us.
